I started my artistic journey the traditional way with crayons, pens and markers at a very early age. As the years went by I found so many wonderful ways to create outside of those basic tools. From jewelry making, lampworking/glass blowing, and sculpting to watercolor painting, acrylics and now utilizing technology, I have found that my favorite way to express myself is with a good pen, solid-weight sketching paper and a glorious palette of Berol Prismacolor pencils.
I'm an artist.
I've always found a deep satisfaction in drawing my feelings, goals and dreams. A simple sketch can convey so much of what I'm trying to express.
It helps me to focus all the noise and words into a concise image/thought.
I'm an illustrator.
It gives me such deep joy to bring someone's story and vision to life through illustrative art!
I enjoy the process of relaying the imagery expressed in the poem, song, or story, to fruition through the artistic process.
I'm a life coach.
Sharing the love of color, different artistic mediums and creativity with others, while facilitating an experience where they feel seen and heard, is one of my greatest joys.
I have found that holding space for someone to explore their feelings while being creative is so incredibly healing!

I'm a passionate artist and entrepreneur who has turned my lifelong love of doodling into a thriving creative business, free.hand studio. With a deep belief in the power of art to inspire and communicate, I now spend my career bringing stories to life through my unique, hand-drawn illustrations. I believe that creativity is a skill to be nurtured, and through my art, I hope to inspire both kids and adults to express themselves boldly. I am also dedicated to teaching others how to channel their creativity into something meaningful, whether it’s through art, entrepreneurship, or simply embracing their own imaginative ideas. When I'm not creating, I'm living out my journey as a life coach, massage therapist, and proud mom, always striving to show my two daughters the importance of following your passions and embracing your creativity!
